Reflect on why you want/need this change
Start small. Choose something realistic, achievable and easier to fit in your schedule so you can sustain the change

Be patient with yourself--change takes time
Experiment--sometimes there is trial and error
Make it a positive experience by doing something you enjoy along with the change
Re-evaluate your reasons for the change and how the process is going. Notice what is going well and what could be improved
There can be strength in numbers. Involve others if this would add to making your change a more positive experience
